The Gujarat Giants represent an Indian women’s cricket team in the Women’s Premier League (WPL), located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Adani Group owns the team, and Rachael Haynes serves as the coach. The team’s roster was formed at the first WPL player auction in February 2023.

The Women’s Premier League was officially named in January 2023, and franchises’ rights were acquired by investors through a closed bidding process. Adani Group, known for owning the Gujarat Giants kabaddi team, secured the rights to one of the franchises.

Mithali Raj became a mentor for the Gujarat Giants on 30 January 2023.

In February 2023, Rachael Haynes was appointed as the head coach. The inaugural WPL player auction, where Gujarat Giants enlisted 18 players for their squad, took place on 13 February 2023. Unfortunately, the team concluded the group stage at the bottom during the inaugural tournament.
