IPL Media Rights: How the windfall of cash will benefit players?

The salary purse for IPL 2023 is set to be doubled to Rs 180 Crore.
That will see players not only get a mega hike in salary but also cross the Rs 20 or even Rs 25 crore mark in upcoming auctions.
The prize money is also set to increase for the coming year. The IPL title winner currently gets Rs 20 Crore. It is set to increase by a minimum of 25% for IPL 2023.
The central contract is also set to be remade. The current highest slab of Rs 7 crore will also see a significant boost in numbers.
