Delhi Capitals (DC) Boling Squad IPL 2025 includes experienced players like Kuldeep Yadav and Mitchell Starc, along with all-rounder Axar Patel. Fast bowlers like T Natarajan and Mukesh Kumar offer strong options in death overs, ensuring a well-rounded attack to tackle various match situations.

(1) Mitchell Starc

At the IPL 2025 auction, the Delhi Capitals paid INR 11.75 crore for the Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc. After a lengthy absence, Starc made an IPL comeback in 2024, making his first participation since 2015. Despite having a poor start, he took 17 wickets during the season and was instrumental in the Kolkata Knight Riders IPL 2024 victory. Known for his exceptional pace and big-match temperament, Starc’s availability and consistency make him a valuable asset in the IPL.

(2) T-Natrajan

The Delhi Capitals (DC) purchased T Natarajan, a left-arm bowler known for his lethal Yorkers and superb death-over bowling, for ₹10.75 crore during the IPL 2025 mega auction. With 67 wickets in 61 IPL games, he was a key member of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and was well-known for his ability to limit runs. Natarajan’s best IPL stats are 4/19, and his strong prior season performances—such as taking 19 wickets in the 2024 IPL—helped increase his auction value.

(3) Kuldeep Yadav

For the 2025 IPL season, Kuldeep Yadav will cost ₹13.25 crore, and the Delhi Capitals (DC) will keep him.
Indian left-arm wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav is renowned for his remarkable spinning prowess and game-winning exploits. Having been crucial for both India and his IPL franchise in different seasons, he provides a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his side as a significant player in IPL 2025. He is a powerful weapon because of his bowling, which is characterized by a strong leg-spin and deceptive flight, especially in the middle overs. With his ability to take wickets, he hopes to bolster his team’s bowling attack in the forthcoming IPL season.

(4) Mukesh Kumar

During the super auction, the Delhi Capitals re-signed Indian medium pacer Mukesh Kumar for the 2025 IPL for INR 8 crore. The Delhi Capitals used their Right to Match (RTM) option to keep him following a fierce bidding battle in which the Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings both expressed interest.

With 17 wickets in 10 games in 2024, Mukesh, who began his IPL career in 2023, had a breakthrough year. He has been a valuable member of the Delhi Capitals and is renowned for his accuracy and ability to break partnerships in the middle overs.

(5) Axar Patel

The Delhi Capitals (DC) have paid ₹16.5 crore to retain Axar Patel for the 2025 Indian Premier League. Axar is a talented all-round player who has contributed with both bat and ball and has been a vital member of the DC squad. Both for India and the IPL, he has continuously delivered strong performances, delivering a valuable batting option in the lower order and steady bowling in the middle overs.

(6) Ashutosh Sharma

At the IPL 2025 mega auction, the Delhi Capitals (DC) paid ₹3.80 crore for the powerful batting all-rounder Ashutosh Sharma. One of Punjab Kings’ shining spots during the 2024 IPL season was Sharma, who is renowned for his amazing power hitting. With a strike percentage of more than 167.25, his striking skill was notable even though he scored 189 runs in 11 games. Among his better performances was a scorching 61 against the Mumbai Indians. Sharma is a great addition to DC’s team for the forthcoming season because of his skill and promise.

(7) Dushmantha Chameera

Dushmantha Chameera is a Sri Lankan fast bowler known for his pace and aggressive style, and he will be part of the IPL 2025 auction. His base price is set at ₹75 lakh. Chameera has represented various IPL teams, including Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians, but his presence in recent seasons has been sporadic due to injuries.

His key strengths are his speed and ability to swing the ball, making him valuable in limited-overs formats, especially in the death overs. While he has faced some setbacks with injuries, Chamere’s experience in international cricket and other domestic leagues, such as the Lanka Premier League (LPL), could boost his chances in the auction.
