Despite Anuj Rawat’s impressive 48 runs, RCB fell short, with Mustafizur Rahman emerging as the match-winner, taking four crucial wickets.
Rachin Ravindra’s contribution with both batting and fielding was significant for CSK. With this win, CSK earned two points and bolstered their net run rate. RCB, on the other hand, despite the efforts of their top scorers Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli, continue to seek their maiden IPL title.

Bangladesh left-arm pacer Mustafizur has represented Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, and Delhi Capitals in the past.
Rahman’s IPL journey started with Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016. He picked up 17 wickets, and the franchise won the title. In the final against Royal Challengers Bangalore, he had dismissed the veteran Australian batter Shane Watson. His best performance in that season (3/16) came against Mumbai Indians. Rahman had dismissed Hardik Pandya among the other batters.
Rahman’s 2021 season with Rajasthan Royals was an impressive one. He picked up 14 wickets in as many matches. The fast bowler has played Pakistan Super League and the Bangladesh Premier League at home after cutting his teeth in the high-pressure IPL in the neighboring country.
The 28-year-old is probably the second Bangladesh player after Shakib Al Hasan to get a long rope in the IPL. He is an experienced international cricketer with 91 T20Is and 107 wickets. He has been a potent force in Bangladesh cricket since his debut in 2015 in Mirpur against Pakistan. The youngster had picked up the prized wickets of Shahid Afridi and Mohammed Hafeez, big guns of Pakistan cricket.
Later that year, he bamboozled India in the ODI series at home. He returned 5/50 and 6/43 in consecutive matches.
